Crunchyroll announced that they will be hosting the world premiere of the anime movie BLACKFOX at this year’s Crunchyroll Expo!

Crunchyroll describes BLACKFOX as follows:

Living in a ninja residence tucked away in a corner of a futuristic city is Rikka, the eldest daughter of a Ninja clan, who looks up to her father—a researcher—very much. Carrying on with her life normally, Rikka’s home came suddenly under attack one day. Driven into a corner, what would she do to overcome this crisis?
Rip darkness to pieces and become “BLACK”!

A promotional video for the anime was also released which you can check out below!

Crunchyroll Expo is Crunchyroll’s owned anime convention, celebrating the best and brightest in Japanese animation, gaming, cosplay, and more, taking place in San Jose over Labor Day weekend (8/30-9/1). This year, fans are invited to take a trip and explore Crunchyroll Expo’s New Crunchy City, an interactive anime convention that will transport attendees to a place where anime and Japanese pop culture comes to life.
