The Marvel Cinematic Universe has had a big year in 2019 with Captain Marvel, Avengers Endgame and Spider-Man Far From Home all crushing it at the Box Office. But with these three films comes the end of Phase 3, and the question of, “What is in Phase 4?” Certain sequels are already confirmed, and now, it’s been revealed that a fourth Thor film will happen with Taika Waititi returning as both writer and director.

Waititi was the head of the Thor: Ragnarok team, and the film blew away people’s minds so much that they begged him to come back for Thor 4. Chris Hemsworth himself stated that it was Ragnarok that led to him enjoying being Thor again after what he felt were lackluster storylines in Thor The Dark World and Age of Ultron.

No date has been assigned to the film just yet, and it’s unclear what the story will be about and who will be involved with the film character-wise outside of Thor given the events of Endgame.
