SDCC 2019: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 10 Trailer Arrives

By Todd BlackJuly 19, 2019
The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead had a big spotlight at San Diego Comic-Con this year. It not only got announced that Fear the Walking Dead would get a 6th season, but also revealing the Season 10 trailer for The Walking Dead.

The trailer shows a war that’s coming between Michonne and her group and The Whisperers that were revealed last year. Things are looking to get very intense. What’s more, this is Michonne’s last season on the show. That’s right, Danai Gurira is leaving the show after this season. So how she’ll go out (considering she lives throughout the comics) is going to be interesting to see.

Here’s what Gurira said during the panel:

“I would just like to say this has been one of the purest joys in my life. I am very very thankful for the experience I’ve had in ways that I cant even express right now. My heart does not leave… it doesn’t ever end, the connection between us never ends. It was a very difficult decision. It was about my calling and other things I feel called to… as a creator of work. All I’m filled with is a lot of pain about leaving and a lot of gratitude and to all of you. I love you guys. TWD family is forever.”

The Walking Dead Season 10 will premiere on AMC on October 6, 2019.
