Cobra Kai Season 2 Gets 30 For 30 “Documentary”

By Todd BlackApril 17, 2019
Cobra Kai Season 2

Cobra Kai Season 2 is just a week away, and fans are pumped for the return of the revival that shocked the world in regards to how good it was. Season 2 is aiming to ramp everything up with the arrival of Miyagi-Do, John Kreese, new students, new battles, and a lot of bad blood.

The team behind the show have honestly been killing it in regards to their promotion of the series. And now, they’ve outdone themselves, because they teamed up with ESPN to make a fake 30 For 30 “documentary” about the legendary first fight between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence in the first Karate Kid movie.

They bring in “experts”, fans, and even the cast to talk about the fight, what was good, what was bad, whether the Crane Kick was “legal” or not. It’s really good stuff. The irony here is that this isn’t the first time ESPN has done a spoof like this. They did it before with Space Jam, but seeing them do it about a more “real-life” event is just as awesome, if not moreso.

You can watch it below, and you can watch Cobra Kai Season 2 on Youtube Premium next week.
