Panzer Dragoon Remakes Are Confirmed to be Coming

By Josh PiedraDecember 10, 2018
Panzer Dragoon

It was confirmed by Forever Entertainment and SEGA that Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon Zwei will be receiving remakes! The first game is planned for a 2019 release and while both games are set to receive brand-new graphics and modifications.

The original game debuted on Sega Saturn in 1995 and was well-received by players. The rail shooter-style game also scored well with gaming critics. Forever Entertainment stated that the Panzer Dragoon series has been repeatedly remade with releases coming on multiple platforms; the latest being on Xbox One’s backward compatibility with.

While they did state that the modifications will make the game more attractive to modern players, they didn’t go into what those modifications will be. They did state that they wish to remain faithful to the original game in terms of story but didn’t really include gameplay in that statement which has some fans of the series worried. They did go on to say that first materials from the remakes will be presented in the coming months so we’ll be able to get our first glimpse at the remade graphics and (hopefully) a gameplay trailer.
