The Outerhaven YouTube Roundup July 8, 2018

We here at the Outerhaven want you to know us not only for our passions surrounding gaming, tech, television, movies, anime, manga, etc. Every week we’re going to deliver to you a list of videos we have been checking out while cyberloafing the internet. It gives you a chance to see another side to us, one that isn’t focused on covering the latest news or reviews. While this list will be largely safe for work, we must warn against things that may incite any phobias that you may have. Enjoy!

Josh’s Pick:

I’ve recently introduced myself to Boku no Hero Academia and have fallen in love with that show. It also helps that the third season’s opening is done by a band I also equally love, UVERworld. I love the song, love the animation in the opening but don’t feel as if the two of them mesh up all that well. Despite that qualm, it doesn’t detract from the fact that it’s a great song. As with any great song, I’ll try to find covers just to hear other people’s takes and interpretations. I found one such cover from Studio Yuraki that was just simply amazing. So good, that I’m sharing it with you all this week.

Todd’s Pick:

One of the most epic Death Battles of all time is here. Ryu from Street Fighter vs Jin from Tekken. A war is about to go down, and you don’t want to miss this!

Liz’s Pick:

An elderly Japanese man from Osaka spent 10 years dealing with this rope and ring puzzle. To solve it, he seeks the help of a tv show.

That’s all for week’s roundup. Tune back in next week to see what we are sharing next!
