Anime Expo 2018: Kodansha Announces New Manga Titles

During a joint panel with Vertical Comics at Anime Expo, Kodansha Comics announced several new manga titles. Some of the titles will be released in print while others will be released in digital format. The titles that were announced are as follows:

Print

  • Boarding School Juliet
  • Quintessential Quintuplets
  • Edens Zero

Digital

  • The Seven Deadly Sins: Seven Days
  • Love in Focus
  • Witch Hat Atelier
  • Gleipnir
  • Hiro Mashima’s Playground
  • Fairy Tail: Lightning Gods
  • 10 Dance
  • Hitorijime Hero
  • Yuri is My Job!

The three titles that are to be released in print are already being released digitally through Kodansha’s website and manga app. Boarding School and Edens Zero print editions are scheduled for release in October while Quintessential Quintuplets is scheduled for release in January 2019.

It was also announced during the panel that the 35th-anniversary edition of the Akira manga box set, which is currently sold out, will be back in stock starting in September; however, an exact date in September was not given.
