Nintendo streamed several videos which revealed new characters coming to KOEI Tecmo’s Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. The video shows Agitha, Zant, Midna and Twili Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Toon Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Characters highlighted in the video first include Link, Zelda, Impa, Linkle, Lana, Volga, Wizzro, and Cia from the original release of Hyrule Warriors.

Characters highlighted in the second video include Marin from Link’s Awakening, Sheik, Darunia and Ruto from Ocarina of Time and Young Link, Skull Kid and Tingle from Majora’s Mask.

In the third video, Nintendo highlighted Toon Link, Tetra, Medli, and King Daphnes from The Wind Waker.

There will be 29 heroes and villains to play as in total. The game is scheduled for release on May 18 in North America and Europe for the Nintendo Switch. The game already launched on March 22 in Japan. The game adds new costumes for Link and Zelda based on Breath of the Wild. The game will also include all previous exclusive DLC from the original release on the Wii U console.
