Fans of Nippon Ichi Software’s strategy RPG franchise should rejoice as the latest title in the series Disgaea 5 Complete is now officially coming to Steam. The release date for the game on PC is set for May 7th. With just a month until the release, fans are itching to see Killia, Seraphina, and rest of the cast fight to end Void Dark’s reign on a new platform.

Debuting on PS4, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance was met with critical acclaim and commercial success back in 2015 for its polished mechanics and stunning visuals. The release of Complete comes with all DLC from the original game as well. This means the game includes eight bonus scenarios, four extra characters, and three extra character classes. Nippon Ichi Software clearly has much love for their title, as Complete was released for a brand new console on the Switch two full years after Alliance of Vengeance came out. They obviously tuned into the fact that the Switch version was very well received and provided the community and world with a great opportunity to play even more Disgaea 5.

It should be noted that the game is the perfect entry point into the series for anyone who might’ve considered dipping their toes into the world of Disgaea. The game features a brand new story with a whole host of characters that give the game a vibrant life and charisma that veterans to the series come back for more of each installment. These inclusions in addition to the over fifty hours of gameplay in the main story alone make for an intriguing title clearly worthy of the praise and cult following it has garnered over the years.
