Looks Like Battle Chasers: Nightwar Is Coming To The Switch

By Keith MitchellFebruary 23, 2018

Is this coming out on the Switch?

One of the biggest questions I received during my time reviewing Airship Syndicate’s Battle Chasers: Nightwar is, “Is this coming to the Switch?”. To which my answer was “I have no idea”. Honestly, I had wished know if and when this would happen, but it wasn’t in the cards then.

Thankfully, if I get asked that question again I sort of have a better question. That being that Airship Syndicate has submitted the game to Nintendo. Meaning that if there are no issues on Nintendo’s end, we could get an answer for a release soon.

Update for those patiently waiting for the #Switch version of Battle Chasers: Nightwar – the game has been submitted to Nintendo, and once approved, we'll have a release date shortly after. pic.twitter.com/vvMSMLR0lv

That’s fantastic news for the game and fans of the Nintendo Switch. This game is perfect for playing docked or on the go, so I’m hoping things go smoothly for Airship Syndicate.

A possible double dip for me? You damn right it is. I enjoyed the game on the PS4, outside of the issue that I talked about in my review. An engrossing story, enjoyable characters, the combat system is one of the best I’ve seen in an RPG. So it’s pretty easy to see why I’d love for this game to make it to the Switch.

It’s just a matter of time now, but it’s on the way!
