Nintendo has revealed that the next major Nintendo Direct is coming this Wednesday, this one is coming only two weeks after the Nindies Summer Showcase, showing that Nintendo wants to keep the news comin gin big ways.

The Nintendo Direct itself will be 45 minutes long, and focus on the upcoming Nintendo Switch and 3DS titles that are releasing in the next few months.

So naturally, that means we’ll get looks at Metroid: Samus Returns, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, probably Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as well. On the Switch side, that probably means we’ll get new looks at Pokken Tournament DX, Fire Emblem Warriors, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and some are thinking even Skyrim and Rocket League, but it’s unclear whether that’ll happen.

Many are hoping that for those last three games that we’ll get release dates for them, because we currently don’t, and being as Mario Odyssey is that last major 1st game that we have a date for, and there’s nothing confirmed for Switch in November and December as of yet, they might need to get those release dates coming.

And of course, you can likely expect a Nintendo Direct surprise or two, especially since it’s 45 minutes long.

We’ll be posting any and all news from the Direct when it comes, and then we’ll chat about it more on the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast!
