Two New Dragon Ball FighterZ Characters Getting Revealed This week

By Keith MitchellJuly 16, 2017
Dragon Ball FighterZ

What do you know, we’re talking about Dragon Ball FighterZ again. And who can blame us? The game is hype as heck, just look at reception the game received during EVO 2017. We recently got word from the producer of the game, Tomoko Hiroki, that we’ll be getting some news on two upcoming characters. Expect that news to come later on this week, July 21st to be specific.

This also just happens to be the same time that the popular manga and video game magazine, V Jump, hits newsstands. Other than that, no hints as to which characters will be revealed have been dropped. Whoever it is, they’ll bring the total number of characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ to nine. That includes current characters Goku, Gohan, Cell, Buu, Vegeta, and Frieza, on top of the previous reveal of Future Trunks.

That said, there’s a huge list of characters I’d love to see added, but for now, I’d go with Piccolo and Pikkon. Both are mean, green, fighting machines and have given Goku a run for his money during their respected arcs. I’d love to see both of those guys added, but I severely doubt that we’ll see Pikkon.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Nintendo Switch version hasn’t been confirmed but has been requested heavily by the fans.
