Anime Expo 2017: Rewrite+ Coming to the West in English

It was announced at Anime Expo that KEY’s Rewrite+ will be coming West via Sekai Project.  Rewrite+ was originally released in Japan in July 2016. The game includes some improvements along with some revisions to the game’s scenarios. There will also be some added sound effects and addition illustrations that weren’t in the original game. Additionally, the game includes the “Rewrite Harvest festa!” fandisc.

KEY has also produced other visual novels such as Air, Kanon, CLANNAD and Little Busters! All of those visual novels have received anime adaptations. Rewrite also received a television anime adaption that spanned for two seasons. Jun Maeda, who has been the majority writer for these, also went on to produce Angel Beats with PA Works and the original anime Charlotte.
