It’s NBA Playoffs season, the Cleveland Cavaliers swept another opponent, and NBA 2K18 is on its way to store shelves everywhere. NBA 2K18, the world’s #1 basketball sim, was officially revealed in what could perhaps be the funniest way possible, involving an old teammate of Shaq’s during his championship days. (Hint: It’s not Dwayne Wade.)

Inside the NBA analyst and multiple time NBA Champion Shaquille O’Neal will be on the cover for the NBA 2K18 Legend and Legend Gold Editions. This will be Shaq’s first time on the cover since NBA 2K7. It is currently unknown who will be on the cover for the Standard Edition, but we do know that the game will be officially releasing on September 19th, with Early Tip-Off access for pre-orders on Friday, September 15th for Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
