ERASED Receives English Dub

It was announced on Friday at Anime Central that Kei Sanbe’s Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, also known as ERASED, will be receiving an English dub and home release.  The series has been licensed by Aniplex of America.  While the announcement was made about ERASED receiving an English dub, there was no announcement as to when it will become available. 

According to, the story of ERASED is as follows:

When tragedy is about to strike, Satoru Fujinuma finds himself sent back several minutes before the accident occurs. The detached, 29-year-old manga artist has taken advantage of this powerful yet mysterious phenomenon, which he calls “Revival,” to save many lives.

However, when he is wrongfully accused of murdering someone close to him, Satoru is sent back to the past once again, but this time to 1988, 18 years in the past. Soon, he realizes that the murder may be connected to the abduction and killing of one of his classmates, the solitary and mysterious Kayo Hinazuki, that took place when he was a child. This is his chance to make things right.

Boku dake ga Inai Machi follows Satoru in his mission to uncover what truly transpired 18 years ago and prevent the death of his classmate while protecting those he cares about in the present.

The anime aired earlier this year and is available for legal streaming on FUNimation, Crunchyroll and Daisuki.  The anime as well as the manga concluded in March of 2016 and the anime contains the original manga ending.

Aniplex of America also announced a Blu-Ray box set of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series we well with a suggested retail price of $149.98 and a store listed price of $119.98. That collection will be released on August 23.
