Doom Has A Release Date – May 13 2016

Bethesda Softworks has finally announced that audiences will be able to get their hands on the long-awaited return of Doom this May, on the 13th to be precise. A thrilling new trailer was posted today, featuring plenty of demons, heavy ballistics, fire, chainsaws, demons, and heavy metal. I must admit, I’m not usually a sucker for such obvious attempts at taking advantage of my primal instincts, but this trailer got me pumped to dive into hell and rip everything apart.

Those who pre-order, it was announced, will also be getting a pretty nice collector’s edition (in limited quantity). Said package includes a twelve-inch demon statue, along with a bad ass metal case for the game.

This spring is becoming more crowded by the minute with huge titles. Let’s hope that Doom can stand out by living up to the name of its predecessors.
