New update video for The 90’s Arcade Racer appears and it is glorious

If you’d asked me how The 90’s Arcade Racer was shaping up prior to today, I’d tell you flat out that I had no idea. Despite being a backer for the still in development arcade racing title, we haven’t had an update since September. However that has all changed since an update was provided today, along with some new game-play footage of the game in action.

And the video is looking mighty fine, check it out for yourself here.

And while this game has been in development for quite some time, I’m happy to see that it’s still ongoing and that we’ve gotten this video update. So what’s new this time around? per the update, all of the game-play elements are up and running, which includes the AI and GUI elements and now the team is working on polishing up the game and quashing any bugs. Lastly they’re working on getting the two player split-screen and championship mode setup.

So if I can take anything away from this, it seems like that The 90’s Arcade Racer is getting closer to a release, but that’s just speculation on my part.
