Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows set to release on September 17

Alright gang, you’ve read about it, heard about it, dreamt about it and if you were lucky you even were able to play it at several events. But now, the time is nigh as Yacht Club Games has announced that the expansion. Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, is set to release on September 17, 2015. That’s right, this time around you’ll play as Plaque Knight, the very same villain who you battled against in the original Shovel Knight game.

Grab your potions and don your mask, it’s time to play as Plague Knight! Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows is a free update is primed to appear on all existing platforms and regions on September 17th, 2015!! Whether you’re on your favorite system or trying the game in a new way, we hope you enjoy this free update featuring an all new alchemical adventure and Challenge Mode!
