Maisie Williams to Guest Star on Doctor Who

Maisie Williams, perhaps best known for her portrayal of Arya Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones will be heading over to BBC for a guest spot on an episode for series 9 of Doctor Who. Joining her will be 12th doctor, Peter Capaldi and current companion Clara Oswald, played by Jenna Coleman.

Not much has been revealed about Williams’ role, but current showrunner Steven Moffat did have the following to say:

“We’re thrilled to have Maisie Williams joining us on Doctor Who. It’s not possible to say too much about who or what she’s playing, but she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Maisie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell.”

Doctor Who series 9 will air later in the year
