Pricing information for the upcoming Elite: Dangerous comes to light

Frontier Developments, the company behind the upcoming Space Sim, Elite: Dangerous, has come out today regarding pricing on the title. There will be two different sku’s; The standard edition which will retail for $59.99 can be ordered from their website – here.

The second sku entitled the “Mercenary Edition” is available for $50 to anyone who pre-order the game prior to release at the website.

I definitely recommend picking up the Mercenary Edition if you can as it comes with a whole bunch of extras that aren’t included in the standard edition;

  • An additional Eagle fighter ship docked in a secondary location in-game
  • Exclusive pack of ship paint schemes
  • A ‘Day One’ ship decal
  • A digital players guide
  • A digital concept art book
  • Plus additional in-game benefits and other digital goodies to be announced over the coming weeks.

Tell this ship ain’t sexy. I dare you to!

Elite: Dangeous will be released Q4 2014 for PC and MAC, while other platforms are still being looked into.
