Grand Theft Auto V heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC after all

We all kinda figured that Rockstar was going to release Grand Theft Auto V for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One yet we were still in the dark on if the game would ever make it’s way to the PC.  Looks like we wouldn’t have to beg and pester Rockstar about the port anymore as they’ve announced during E3 2014 that GTAV will finally make it’s way to the next-generation consoles along side with the heavily requested PC version.

Slated to release Fall 2014 the ugpraded versions of GTAV will feature new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects as well as a video editor for the PC version on top of increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions.

I skipped on the original release of Grand Theft Auto V as I was waiting for the PC version but now that this was announced I’m unsure if the PC version is still for me or if the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will show any graphical differences compared to the PC.

Did you pick up Grand Theft Auto V for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 and if so are you going to double dip now that the next-generation version has been announced?

I think Rockstar messed up this time. Millions of people own GTA V and they’re just now going to make it available for the PC crowd (I couldn’t care less about consoles). I know that PC sales make up a small fraction of sales but why wait 6 months to even announce that there will be a PC version?

I thought that as well but as the same time it’s available for PC it’s also on the PS4 and Xbox One, which will help push (Hopefully) more systems.

Honestly one of the reasons I passed on GTA5 for the past generation of consoles was I didn’t think the consoles were up to what Rockstar envisioned and while they did a remarkable job I felt the graphic / game engine was being held back. Now we get to see it “Balls to the wall” so to speak.

Just don’t make it a $60 game but who am I kidding.

If it launches at $60 it better be a GOTY type with a metric ton of DLC and Steam Workshop. If not Rockstar can pound sand.
