Well Rockstar said it would come and today was finally the day, Gran Theft Auto III has been released on all iOS and Android enabled devices. I have to admit I wasn’t 100% sure that they would be able to pull it off but they did. GTA III mobile runs silky smooth (Assuming your device can handle it, not all can sadly) and they even managed to put the entire sound track from GTA III in there (Confirmed by Kotaku). You can pick it for a song and a dance….er, $4.99 from both the Google Market and iTunes.
Sure it will definitely take some time to get used to playing it since there are no tactile feedback but thankfully they reworked the controls with that in mind. I recently downloaded this onto my Android tablet and can’t wait for some free time alone to play this.
