Quan Chi Makes his Mortal Kombat Debut in new Trailer

By Todd BlackDecember 3, 2023
Mortal Kombat 1, Quan Chi

Mortal Kombat 1 made quite a splash when it arrived earlier in the year. Its unique storyline changed everything we knew about the franchise and set a bold direction for what comes next. But before a new title can be made, the Kombat Pack must be completed! Last month, Omni-Man made his debut, and in December, Quan Chi will get his chance to cause some chaos.

The sorcerer has a deadly array of abilities that will keep foes on their toes, including the ability to send monstrous entities at them and send them through portals! But that’s not the only character who was shown off. A new Kameo fighter in Kameleon is coming in January, and she’ll be able to shift between the many female assassins we know from the main game, like Jade, Milenna, Kitana, and more.

As if that wasn’t enough, we get a tease of Quan Chi fighting with Peacemaker, indicating that he’ll be the next Kombatant in Mortal Kombat 1 when January 2024, comes around.

Quan Chi will be available on early access on December 14th, 23023, with a full-on release on the 21st.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available to play on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC… but stay away from the Switch version.
