Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 New Game+ Mode Won’t Release Until 2024

By Todd BlackDecember 13, 2023
Marvel Spider-Man 2

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was easily one of the best games of 2023. Even if you haven’t played it yourself for one reason or another, you’ve heard of how good it is. It was even nominated several times at The Game Awards for various categories. But some gamers want even more from the title, and Insomniac Games is trying to be open and transparent about all that’s going on in it. To that end, the team has posted a message on Twitter about the desire for a New Game+ mode and other features that the player base has heavily requested.

The team promised that the changes and additions were coming but that they didn’t want to rush the next update out. As a result, these features won’t arrive until 2024.

While that will be a bummer for some, it’s important to remember that Insomniac Games is really good at making quality products, as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 proves. So when the New Game+ mode and the other features you’ve requested arrive, they’ll likely be worth the wait.
