Evo 2024: Kevin Rian Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves Reveal

By Kevin KellyJuly 20, 2024

SNK announced a new wolf to join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Kevin Rian, the Southtown SWAT cop, is ready to do some more good in Southtown. Introduced in the first game, Mark of the Wolves, Rian is back with his little friend in tow. Post the King of Fighters XV Finals today, Kevin was announced to be returning to the game in a trailer.

Along with some of his usual moves, the Creeper crawl is back for better or worse. His upper game is still there with the massive punches. Rian’s damage was brutal in Mark of the Wolves. With his command grab moves, Kevin’s options were things to be feared as a top tier character. Not sure why SWAT would be stopping folks at a zoo, but we’ll run with it.

Using a grenade in a tournament? not sure if that’s safe, but Leona’s been doing it for years, so I guess it’s legal.

Kevin comes after Vox Reaper’s reveal, who was revealed last month at Summer Games Fest. There could be more considering how generous SNK has been with all the announcements at Evo 2024 this year. Preecha and Vox were discussed at length in the Evo Showcase last night. Unfortunately, Kevin Rian was not available for the Exhibition Matches for City of the Wolves.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be available early 2025 on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC through Steam and Epic Game Store.
