Game Designer Yoshimi Yasuda of DRAGAMI GAMES, announced that the game’s first trailer detailing the release date and systems it will be on will be unveiled on June 13th at 6 PM PST/9 PM EST.

It was 2012 since the original game was released on PS3 and Xbox 360. Goichi Suda (Suda51) wanted to make a zombie game, but more colorful with literal rainbows and less emphasis on the horror aspect. The game is a throwback to the ’80s with Juliet Starling, Zombie Hunter and Cheerleader, who suddenly finds herself late to school and in a Zombie apocalypse. Alongside her boyfriend Nick, who is now a decapitated head on her hip, traverses the campus to undo the zombie infestation and look good while doing it. It’s a solid Hack n’ Slash with no shame of what it wants to be. From its many collaboration costumes like Deadman Wonderland, High School of the Dead, and Is This a Zombie? , it is a game that has fun for what it is with the fanservice and style you expect from Suda.

Given the current state of society and the gaming industry, some have wondered whether this remake will be toned down or censored.  The only comment regarding censorship by Yoshimi is that they feel the same way about censorship as the fans. Whether or not this confirms that it will not unaltered/censored will remain to be seen. Or if the original voice cast back with Tara Strong and Michael Rosenbaum. Hopefully, on June 13, we will have an answer.
