MultiVersus Launch Trailer Arrives With New Characters, Including Matrix’s Agent Smith

By Kevin KellyMay 22, 2024

MultiVersus released a new launch trailer. Bugs and Velma take on The Joker, who flies through space with Iron Giant. Yeah, this a thing. Marvin The Martian also gets some of the action. Rick and Morty’s Rick is seen slightly interrupting Wonder Woman’s face-off against 3 other versions of herself.

The Matrix’s Agent Smith and super slasher Friday The 13th’s Jason Voohres will be joining the game. The two villains appear near the Iron Throne with Joker seated as a bit of a final boss to the heroes. As to how they play, the two are not classed as of yet. However, The Joker will be a Mage type. While there is no gameplay revealed here, MultiVersus will be making its’ return. Included in the comeback will be expanded move sets per character, rollback, and a PVE mode.

Multiversus will be available on May 28th on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Steam.
