Little Nightmares III Release Pushed to 2025

Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco Europe have announced that Little Nightmares III, initially slated for a 2024 release, has been delayed to 2025. The developers want to ensure the game receives the “care and love it deserves.”

The game was revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live last year, and the news of its delay was shared through an official statement. The developers explained that their priority is to deliver the best possible experience for fans of the series. They emphasized the importance of quality and the need for additional time to achieve it.

Please do bear with us, little ones, for we need a little extra time to prepare your visit.

Rest assured, we promise to show you a proper welcome. #LittleNightmares III pic.twitter.com/fqxsOPzkFD

In their announcement, the team expressed gratitude for the community’s excitement and support. They assured fans that more information about the horror platformer would be shared later this summer. The developers promised to keep fans updated and thanked them for their patience.

The delay, while disappointing, is seen as a positive step to ensure the game’s quality. Fans prefer a polished final product over a rushed release filled with issues.
