God of War Ragnarok PC Port Announcement Imminent

A reliable insider has hinted that the announcement of the God of War Ragnarok PC port could be imminent. This news follows months of speculation and anticipation from fans. According to the leaker, who has a history of accurate predictions, the official announcement might happen soon, potentially with a release date reveal.

God of War Ragnarok, originally released for the PS4 and PS5 in November 2022, has sold over 15 million units worldwide. The game’s transition to PC would mark another significant milestone for the franchise, allowing a broader audience to experience Kratos’ saga in the Norse realm.

The insider, Billbil-Kun, recently shared on Twitter that the announcement is expected very soon. Although he couldn’t provide an exact date, he suggested that more details, including a possible release date, would be revealed shortly.

There was speculation about the announcement taking place during a PlayStation Showcase this month. However, with other major events like Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission happening, this seems less likely. Despite this, there is still hope that Sony might proceed with a State of Play event before the end of May, where the PC port announcement could be made.

The anticipated PC port is expected to be released before the end of 2024, continuing Sony’s trend of narrowing the gap between a game’s announcement and its release. This move will finally allow PC players to dive into the critically acclaimed world of God of War Ragnarok.
