Marvel and Coca-Cola Team-up for a Sweet Animated Short

While some would argue that Marvel’s comics and cinematic movie universe are on the downswing, despite that, Marvel is still a juggernaut; fans still love its comics and movies and its loveable and interesting characters. Now, we have more than one thing to love: a new crossover with Coca-Cola (Coke) in a new animated short called Coca-Cola X Marvel: The Heroes.

Clocking in at just under two minutes, this animated short features several characters, including Daredevil, Colossus (X-Men), Black Widow, Captain America (Sam Wilson), and yes, even Deadpool, as they work together to stop the Juggernaut (But no one stops the Juggernaut) and also quench the trust of a comic book store employee.

Give it a watch for yourself.

I love the animation style and would love to see a longer animated feature using it; it’s really cool. The short also portrays the comic book shop right. Heck, I wish I could visit it, but I know I’d spend way too much money.

This is one of the better commercials for the carbonated drink, but maybe I’m biased because I grew up on Marvel comics and am so engraved in the universe (Thanks, Dad!).
