LEGO Fortnite: How To Get Power Cells

By Faith LaneApril 11, 2024

LEGO Fortnite is one of the greatest games to play with your friends, as not only does it allow Fortnite lovers to bring over their favorite skins from the game, but it also allows players to build bases and resources solely out of LEGO bricks. This also allows for players to personalize their bases, and now, with the in-game item shop, players can even purchase additional LEGO themed items to use to decorate their worlds.

Fortnite’s LEGO game is a lot like Minecraft, where it had different biomes, materials, animals, and survival techniques that players will have to use in order to stay alive. Power Cells are an important  item as it works like gas for a vehicle, so this will be an important piece needed for your cars in the game which were added in the recent Spring update.

How To Craft Power Cells & Use Them

In order to successfully craft a Power Call in LEGO Fortnite, you will need 6 pieces of glass and 50 biomass. Players will first need a Compost Bin, then throwing things such as cooked meat or raspberries into will help it produce the biomass. Once you’ve collected 50 of those, you will only then need to make 6 pieces of glass, which can be made by collecting sand.

Sand can be found by the beaches in LEGO Fortnite, by using a shovel it can be collected. In order to make glass, you will need 2 pieces of sand and 1 piece of brightcore and place these into the Metal Smelter. Lastly, players will also need an upgraded Crafting Bench, but once that is completed, players can easily craft Power Cells without problem.

For some vehicles, they will require more than one Power Cell, like the heavy duty truck hauler I have, it can hold up to 4, but it takes a lot out of one Power Cell just uses it for a short time, so having multiple is smart. Do note, once a Power Cell runs out and there’s no more left in the vehicle, it will quit running.
