Ermac Gets The Spotlight In New Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer

By Todd BlackApril 9, 2024
Mortal Kombat 1

It’s been a while since Mortal Kombat 1 arrived, but gamers are still talking about it, thanks to the Kombat Pack fighters that have slowly been released since launch. Homelander, Quan-Chi, and Peacemaker have all debuted, and now, it’s time for Ermac to take his place among the Kombatants. Ed Boon teased that a trailer was coming for the “error turned fighter” character, and he didn’t lie about that, as the new trailer is here and shows just how brutal and effective Ermac is.

The thing fans will notice immediately is his unique fighting style. While he does do basic strikes and attacks, he lets the souls within him do the heavy lifting. That includes letting them hold the foe in place for a strike, or even warping them in certain ways to set up combo attacks. You can see the full trailer below, including a truly devastating “Fatality” by the fighter.

Ermac joins the #MortalKombat1 roster on April 16, early access.

Stay tuned for more Mortal Kombat 1 trailers, as there are still two more Kombatants left in this pack to debut.
