Silent Hope Video Review (PC) – Just like old times but modern

Silent Hope review

The Outerhaven’s indie RPG lover, GetSelious, had picked up yet another indie game, this time with Silent Hope, an upcoming isometric action RPG / dungeon crawler for the PC and Nintendo Switch. The game bears a number of similarities to games such as Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and the original Ys titles while adding new features and bringing them into the modern era of gaming.

Game Name: Silent Hope
Platform(s):  PC (reviewed), Switch
Publisher(s):  XSEED
Developer(s): Marvelous
Release Date: October 3rd, 2023

If you’re a fan of the era of isometric RPGs, you may want to give this video a watch, as there are some things you’re really going to enjoy. Silent Hope just might be the next game you didn’t know you wanted to play.

Silent Hope is being developed by Marvelous Inc and will be available for the PC and Switch on October 3rd, 2023. There’s a demo available on Steam if you want to give the game a try before the game is released.

Summary

Silent Hope is an enjoyable and completely functional action RPG that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The combat loop is fun, and there are multiple class to try out, and there’s something that everyone will enjoy. There’s plenty to do outside of the combat and questing, such as cooking and crafting. The game doesn’t reinvent the game, but it’s a fun game to pick up and play in chucks and has a nice overall challenge.
