PlayStation Network Name Change Surveys Being Sent Out

By Keith MitchellFebruary 9, 2018

The PSN name change saga continues

Hey PlayStation, where’s the name change? PlayStation, why can’t we change our PSN usernames? PlayStation, when is this coming? This is perhaps one of the most asked questions, even to this date. It’s no secret that PlayStation owners have been requesting this feature for years (10 and counting), yet this is still not a thing.

While other services, Xbox Live, have added this, Sony hasn’t as of yet. It seems that a lot of us are regretting our choice of names as of lately. I mean, why wouldn’t I want to be called #%#$face or something.

Well, it looks like the wheels for that name change are starting to turn. It was noticed on Twitter, that PlayStation has been sending out surveys regarding the name change feature. It seems to be random at the moment, so I don’t expect everyone to get one. Though in all fairness, it should be sent to all PSN users. Hopefully, we’ll all see this email pop into our inboxes.

Folks, I don’t have to tell you that if you get a survey, you need to fill this out. Hopefully, this lights a fire under PlayStation’s butt and gets the ball running. Then perhaps we can finally get those usernames changed, and not make some people feel so bad.

Ain’t that right, bootysmacker3451 (not an actual username)?
