Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Receives Western Release Date

It was announced by Bandai Namco on Monday that Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will be making its way to consoles in North America and Europe on November 8. The game will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Europe in physical and digital format, but in North America, the game will be available as digital only for the Vita while a physical version is still available for Playstation 4. 

Bandai also unveiled the pre-order bonuses for North America.  Pre-ordering Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will give you two alternate costumes for Asuna entitled “Maid” and “Nightwear.” There is also a bit of God Eater cross promotion as receive two costumes, one that makes male characters look like Soma and the other which makes female characters look like Livie. The European pre-order bonuses are the same as the North American ones with the addition of an A4-sized lithograph autographed by Reki Kawahara, the creator of Sword Art Online.

The game will feature the original Japanese audio with sub-titles available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. 

A collector’s edition of Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization will ship in North America. The collector’s edition includes: 6″ Kirito and Asuna figures, collector’s edition packaging, a bonus Blu-ray Disc, a soundtrack, mini posters, decal sheets, and an artbook. In Europe, the collector’s edition will just include the 6″ Kirito and Asuna figures and collector’s edition packaging as bonuses. The collector’s editions are only available for the Playstation 4 edition of the game.

The game is set to release in Japan on October 27 and a manga adaptation is set to be released in the upcoming Sword Art Online Magazine in the same month.
