Marvel’s Jessica Jones Trailer Released

Hot on the heels of the wildly successful Daredevil comes Jessica Jones. The series will follow Jones (played by Krysten Ritter), who deals with PTSD after her encounter with the Purple Man (David Tennant), a super villain capable of mind control. Returning is Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) who was last seen on Marvel’s Daredevil. Mike Colter takes on the role of Luke Cage and will be receiving his own series in 2016’s Marvel’s Luke CageMarvel’s Iron Fist is set to air after Cage before they all converge in Marvel’s Defenders (much like what happened with The Avengers). Marvel’s Netflix titles (as well as their ABC shows, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Marvel’s Agent Carter, and the upcoming Marvel’s Damage Control) all take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) meaning they all take place in the same universe which currently includes The Avengers and their solo movies, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant-Man.

Jessica Jones will air all episodes on Friday, November 20th on Netflix.
