The Outerhaven Podcast #31 – We love big robots and we can not lie!

Good morning everyone, Good Morning. With a new day brings the latest entry of the Arsenal Podcast, which as usual covers topics that interest us and you! This time around we talk about the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, Del Toro’s recent “rock & sock’em robots” flick *Pacific Rim* and much much more!

On a more serious note, I’m sure everyone has heard about the recent Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case and the verdict. We at the Outerhaven believe that justice was not served here and we want it to be 100% clue that while this is seen to be an issue of racism, it’s more a issue that the justice system of the good old’e US of A is flawed. Justice is supposed to be unbiased and blind in the truest sense as Lady Justice herself is blindfolded, symbolizing that justice is or should be meted out objectively, without fear or favor, regardless of identity, money, power, or weakness; blind justice and impartiality. Black or White, Male or Female, Justice is supposed to be the great equalizer, which is wasn’t in this instance.

Many fail to realize what has happened here and sadly this will lead to events that shouldn’t be put into motion. We as a whole need to become better than this, to overlook the entire race issue and tend to matters that really matter….. What’s right & whats wrong. And in this instance, a child was removed from existence way to soon. Image if this was your brother or father, sister or mother. How would you feel then for those who believe that justice was served? We all come from the same world, we all breathe the same, eat the same and we all will end up in the same place in the end. Why do we bicker the way we do now?

To the family Trayvon Martin, we can only give you our prays that some how you can move past this tragedy.

Outro Song: Pacific Rim Soundtrack – Gypsy Danger.

*Stay until the end of the recording*
