Weekly Audio Spotlight (WAS): Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000

So, as a general love of music is a common bond between myself and my brothers here in Outer Haven, I’m taking it upon myself to shine on musical content that I think deserves some attention. Hax is hitting you guys with VGM tracks, but I’m going for larger additions to your music collections. Anything from soundtracks to albums to artists can all find themselves showcased here. Of course, it’s better served that I focus on lesser well known things first, so that the stuff I may acquaint you with from my own library doesn’t end up being things everyone knows already.

Which is why you understand that this first article isn’t featuring the Third Strike OST, for example, lol.

No, I draw your attention to another Capcom fighter that featured a stellar soundtrack. Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000.

Fly remixes, an eclectic flavor with cool beats and some of the smoothest boss stage tracks I’ve heard in a fighter, all in that style of excellence that we came to expect from the Capcom Sound Team back in that time (which is more than I can say for Capcom’s recent fighters, but I digress).

Give it a listen, you’ll probably find something you like. Next week I’ll be back with a different kind of offering.
