So long Azeroth, it was a nice long run. After countless mindless quests, hundreds of dungeon crawls that made my eyes bleed and raids that made me want to bang my head onto my desk, I’ve finally quit WoW. Yes, That digital crack that turns rational humans into mindless and sometimes repulsive individuals is now behind me. No longer will I feel the need to log onto my account to check the auction house for the best deals or waste my time trying to farm mats for enchants. No longer will I need to run the same damned dungeon 1500 times just to try to win an item! No more!
I am free! I have quit you World of Warcraft and like so many before me I will take my own life back. I wouldn’t lie, it was fun when I first started, was it 5 years ago now? But now you are the former husk of what you used to be. You used to be challenging, you used to possess the very fiber of my being. But now you’re way to easy (See Welfare Epics) and I have lost my drive, but that’s a good thing.
To my fellow gamers who are still trapped, hear me! WAKE UP! Free yourself! And no… you can not have my gold. That would require me to renew my account. You will not trap me again!
